Sales Development Representative (SDR)

ROOMDEX is the disruptor in the hotel upselling space. Our clients recognize and readily share with their peers that we are the first upselling system that ‘just works’ and is ‘effortless’. We are actively adding users as we rapidly expand our foothold in the industry. ROOMDEX incorporates decades of deep understanding of hotel system data structures and pre-configures itself for FastStart onboarding in minutes. ROOMDEX integrates with the premier hotel systems and new integrations are added regularly. For hotels, once activated, ROOMDEX generates revenue within a few hours and ROI within 1 or 2 days.

Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, the SDR will work with the sales team performing outbound activities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (including but not limited to the following): 

  • Hit metrics for qualified meetings set and outbound activity 
  • Be responsible for educating and developing prospects leading to hand-off to sales team 
  • Create target prospects lists based on ICP(Ideal Customer Profile) and penetrate key accounts identified by sales team 
  • Cold call into prospects generated by variety of outside sources
  • Profile strategic accounts identifying key individuals, researching and obtaining business requirements and presenting solutions to start the sales cycle
  • Set appointments for sales executives when a lead reaches a qualified stage
  • Nurture new marketing leads(MQLs) by educating and developing prospects until they are ready to speak with a field sales rep
  • Drive attendance for webinars and live seminars, set meetings for conferences
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing team members on strategic sales approach
  • Ensure successful follow through of sales cycle by maintaining accurate activity and lead qualification information in Salesforce

What we hope you bring within you but is not required:

  • Hotel/Hospitality/Tech industry Sales experience
  • Knowledge of Salesforce CRM 
  • Experience working in hotels as a concierge, group sales, front desk 
  • SaaS sales experience
